Hi, thank you for visiting our website. I’m Sarah and I run Flowering Bean Organic Gardens. I have over 35 years of experience growing food in small pots, rental gardens and now on a very large plot.
I specialise in growing organically without using manures, fish and other animal inputs such as blood and bone. The grow section of this website has lots of information about growing with this method, plus interviews on things gardening with a range of experts.
I have a vegan permaculture design certificate and write a garden column in the NZ Vegan Magazine. I love researching and learning and am always open to new ideas and concepts in the garden. The best teacher of all though, is our beautiful earth.
